Firefox is shot to heck

I never (willingly) downloaded a Google toolbar, but one has infested my Firefox. I can't get rid of the "Welcome" box that wants to have me allow more Google downloads - which makes my Firefox unusable. This looks more like a virus than a tool bar!

I was able to do a search called "How to delete Google Tool bar" and all I found was some guy that seems to have the same problem - didn't want it, can't get rid of it.

Anyone else experiencing this glitch?

Luckily, I kept the old Windows explorer, or I'd be off the web entirely!! :P

Have you tried add/remove, it should be there. If not, check in all programs. Good luck. I use Firefox and haven't seen this one.

I refused to download it once I found the attachment.

Somewhere I still have the older/BETTER version.
