This is a new term for me. I've been reading about it, but still don't quite get it.

Is anyone here using it?

My idea was to find something that would help one of our guys synchronize his two email accounts; one here at the office that goes into Outlook, and the one he uses at his home office - Outlook Express. The two programs don't "talk" to each other, so if he cleans up his email while he's here, he goes home to find everything parked in Outlook Express and has to go through it all again.

Then I found this "Grove Folder" thing as part of my explorer for sharing & updating folders & wonder if it can help with this problem.

We're using Windows XP.

Not sure about Grove Folder Sync however there is a simpler fix.

Set up both clients to use IMAP instead of POP. This basically uses the client as a window to look at your email that actually resides you the mail server. When you delete a message, it is deleted from the server which means when he gets home and opens OE, the message is not there.

POP settings actually bring the email to your local computer and remove it from the server, (unless you specify otherwise). This can create issues when trying to find a message since you have two locations where they are being stored.
