How DO you put an avatar up? I have a new favorite cartoon I'd like to put up. Thanks! (our computer has more of a can't do attitude, I think!)

In order to have the cartoon you want to use, you need to post it first to something like photobucket or www.tinypic.com (which is the one I use) - just like a regular photograph. Then in the Profile setup, you can paste the URL from the photo site where you put the animation.

At the top of this page is a gray bar with links on it. Click on the Profile link to change your avitar and any other preferences.

It's the check box for "I have my own Pic." That should do it!
