by this time of the year.
To start with, the clock on my computor is not set right and it's 4:09 am now but I woke up a few minutes ago for the bathroom run and the cat wanted out before I could go myself. That was at 3:34 am.
I opened the back door and the biggest buck I ever saw in my life was standing right under my back yard light and took off.
I didn't get even get close to counting the points but the body on that thing was huge. Actually I barely got a glimps of the antlers but he was still wearing them.
I thought deer lost them by now each year.
But I can't get over how big that thing body was. It looked more like a mule than a deer. I just got a fast sadeways look at it before it leaped into the darknest but the picture sure stuck in my head.
I want him next year. I might want him before then. He was standing dead in my garden area.
But I am putting up electric fence this year. Maybe he'll make it to hunting season. :) If he'll stay out of my garden that is. I guess it's time to start peeing in a jug again. Did that last year and they would come up to maybe 10-20 feet from where I poured it out and turn around and leave.
But they ate enough of my garden before someone told me to try it.
But I want that son of a gun comes hunting season. I can't get over how huge it was. I mean huge. I was going to the bathroom and go back to bed but I am wide awake now, LOL.
Oh well.

During Gun season in Ohio (first and third weekends in Dec) the deer were, for some reason, already loosing their antlers. While at the check in station there were about 10 cars with Bucks. Only a couple had antlers on still. The others you could see the ?bud? where the antler was.
IF he was that nice, save him for hunting season... It would be nice to have bragging rights with that one.
