I thought i'd recap my first 15 days of hunting for you here...

Our "regular" firearms deer season closed yesterday... We "can" still use muzzleloaders though...

I harvested this 8 point opening day... I was suprised when he walked out of my woodlot on opening day... I knew where he was, i just didn't think he'd come along when he did...

I had seen him before season and he was a big bodied buck!

And then i let a LOT of deer go by, day after day... Doe's, little bucks, spikes, and one 5 point...

I even let this 8 point go by... and never saw him again! lol

Plenty of turkeys came by too...

Then a few days ago, i harvested this big doe that was limping pretty bad from an front shoulder injury... I'm betting she will have a broadhead in her shoulder!

Anyway, i still can do some more hunting this season if i want to go out in the cold...

Hope you liked the picts...

Great pics DM! I'd love to have some acreage that had wildlife passing through regularly. Ah, I can dream and plan for the future. Thanks for sharing! BTW, did the doe have a broadhead in her shoulder?

Hi there gal,

I gave that doe to my brother as he wasn't seeing many deer where he hunts, and i haven't heard back from him yet...
