Picked up this year's Pennsylvania hunting license the other day and sent in for my doe tag.
Got me thinking.
I have always lived in PA, I have always hunted in PA and have always had to wear blaze orange.
Where do you hunt? and do you have to where orange?
If not, do you ever wear it anyway for safety?
Here in Wisconsin you have to wear blaze orange, but only during rifle season. It must cover no less then 50% of your body. I go for full orange coverage. Alot of city slickers wonder these woods, pretending they know what they are doing. The more orange I can wear, the safer I feel. Even then I hope I dont get mistaken for that 'dear'.
During bow and muzzleloader season, I dont have to wear orange, nor do I. I have yet to come across anyone else out there during those times.

In Connecticut, I don't have to wear orange when bow hunting, but come shotgun/muzzle loading season or small game orange has to be worn. Then I agree with Babs the more the better. You never know what the other person in the woods is thinking and I sure don't want to be another statistic.

I also live in Pa and am used to the blaze orange requirements. To me I'd rather wear orange than red, if you catch my meaning! There are some blind idiots out there and I'd rather risk being seen by a deer than be mistakenly shot by some moronic nimrod who couldn't tell his arse from third base!
