What is the easiest way to tan furs? I have always wanted to tan my deer hides and am trying to get into trapping.

First, there is a tanning/leathercraft board and you might get better replies there. That said:
If "easy" is your main criteria, there's those tan-in-a-bottle things. But if it's easy you want, why tan or trap at all? It's easier to buy a fur already tanned or trade your furs for some that are already tanned. I have found that they both are very rewarding, but neither tanning or trapping is easy. How many deerhides do you have? Where are you (state)?

Well, that was the long answer, the short one would be "bark tanning is the easiest".

I live in Kansas and normally take 1-2 deer a year.
