House Plans

Can someone suggest a good site for house plans. What I'm looking for is a couple of good simple plans for a 4 bedroom house. I kind of like function over form, modern plans. Something a do it yourself could oversee being built and do alot of work themselves. I picked up a copy of "Dwell" which seems to be my style but alot of the plans are for high end homes.

Here is one with steel building kits that look nice and seem to be fairly cheap. I have a friend who bought one and loves it.

two of my suggestions if you want something out of the ordinary and something you can do yourself is the earthship books and the book small houses on a little planet( pretty sure that is the title) you may be able to get both through a lbrary search.

I've collected quite a few of the homeplan magazines. They have some that are tailored to just small homes or country homes, etc. I've found some great ideas there.

And don't forget to include plans for your prepping like a root cellar and stuff.
