looking for off the gridders in the NE

Hello everybody,
I'm a writer working on an article about people who are living completely off the grid and preparing for the worst. I've been reading through the posts on this board, and I'm really amazed by how much knowledge there is here. If you live off the grid anywhere near NY and would be willing to be interviewed, please contact me as soon as possible.

I want to emphasize that the point of this article is not to laugh it off or portray off-the-gridders as freaks. It's actually a way of life that I personally think a lot about trying. I just want to know more about what I've already learned on these boards -- how people are preparing to be self-sufficient, and why.

I am not a off-gridder yet but hope to be ??? WHEN. alot of people on this board are getting ready for a break down of our society witch is happening. Look around you money is devalued price,s are high and going higher. medicial cost,s are sky rocketing my wage is not keeping up . Property insurance if you can get it is out of site. tax,s are going up. Utility cost,s zig zag. I used to be in the lower-middle class NOW I AM COSIDERED POOR. ooOH to be self sufficant not to reliey on our gov or anybody to makeit to the next check. if you are self-sufficant who cares were the prices go [ look at what cryslier is doing laying off 13k many more people will lose there homes] i don,t know who you are if you are laughing at us LOOK AROUND YOU THE SIGN,S ARE EVERY WHERE. Something major is going to happen I AM PREPAIRING I CAN,T SPEAK FOR ANY ONE ELSE.
