I had to do some brake work on my wife's car so I took advantage of being in the garage and got a bunch accomplished.
I started with the brake issue. I had to have a rotor turned down and replaced both rear sets of brakes. I then changed the oil over to synthetic, Mobil 1 10W30. While I had the jack out, I went ahead and rotated the tires. I find it easiest to do this every oil change but sometimes I skip a change.
After I finished her car, I pulled my vehicle in and replaced my oil filter. I had about 4000 miles since my last change and I'm pretty sure this was the first time it had synthetic oil in it so I figured there was some gunk coming loose. After that, I replaced two belts and checked the other fluids.
Of course I was still in go mode and I have a triaxle of wood coming on Tuesday so I did some routine maintenance on the chainsaw. I blew the air filter out, sharpened the chain, cleaned all the old dust/oil sludge out, and flipped the bar. I sharpened my axe, maul and hatchet last weekend so I'm pretty well set for wood season.
