I was given this boat last night and need to start a bunch of repairs. I'm not real familiar with the brand but aparently, Steury, quit making bass boats in 1980. I haven't really had a chance to go over it but I have to do some fiberglass repair and also replace all of the wood/carpet. I figured for free, whatever. Here is a quick shot of it and a link to others. If anyone has some decent info on these boats, chime in.

Pretty neat! But your mast really looks crooked in the first picture of the album… ::)
Be careful, boat owners are prone to saying that a boat is a hole in the water that you throw money into!

It definitely needs attention. The top front section is cracked pretty good and there are some other holes that need patching. Nothing appears to be below the water line though. Also the keel looks decent. I need to crawl under the trailer for a better inspection but for free, I didn't expect a hell of a lot.
The boat came from my friends father. He is approaching 80 and was diagnosed with cancer. None of his sons fish and since I was basically like a son, he offered it up to me. I did tell him I would trade him some wire shelving I have for it but overall, no real cost to me. I'll keep tabs on repair costs and the procedure when I begin. I figure about $500 should get it in order and I found them selling online from $1800 top $3500.
