I have been driving my truck with:
Bad exhaust gaskets, loose tranny linkage, no low or medium fan settings, only high, and a dire need for a tune up.
What repairs have you put off and still keep driving? How bad is your vehicle? I wanna see some penny pinching and lazy braggin'. ;D

Moved from OR to MO 9 years ago. I was driving a 1980 F250 with a 9ft Chinnook camper and was pulling a 24 ft trailer. The truck had no reverse and only 2nd and 4th gears. By the time I got to MO I didnt have much of a clutch either.

You wouldn't be driving a Dodge would you?
That seems to be a common problem with the Dakota (I drive. one) :)

Ok, I taped the preheater hose in my car with gorilla tape...too cheap to pay 85.00 for the new one. My dash is trying to seperate and bubble. And I have a crack in my windshield on the passengers side...my state only gives tickets for it if it obstucts your vision.

My brother inlaw had just bought a brand new Mazda pickup 4wd he only had about 20,000 miles on it and we were out hunting and he hit a rock with his oil pan and put a hole in it about 3/16 wide by3/4 inch long and of course all the oil came right out we towed it back to camp and I had some 100% silicone and acetone in my truck so we used the acetone to clean the hole good then we aplied the silicone in about 4 different layers letting it dry about 20 minuets between layers then we let it dry for about an hour and a half then we filled it with oil and he drove it that way for 2 years with not one problem then he drove it through a flooded area tryin to save his birds on his bird farm and killed it

I have been driving a 1939 Ford truck for 15 years, daily, and frequently pulling a trailer with an antique car on it thru 4 states.
Do you REALLY want a list of things that need to be fixed? :)

We fix things on the car as soon as they are really worn out. Like the ball joint went out on my way home from work 2 weeks ago. The wheel just kinda folded under. The cop that came to protect me wasn't to happy. Kept talking about traffic (it was 2 o'clock in the morning there wasn't any traffic) but she thought she should call her friend to tow it out of the street. I already had my road side service called and on their way. Oh and then the engine started to make a funny noise, I thought it might be the water pump on the way out but then the noise stopped and so did the air conditioner. it was the air conditioner compressor. I got to keep driving it for about 2 days without the air then the belt froze up and I couldn't get it to start so I had to have it towed again. I guess we just stop driving it and get things fixed when they have to be towed.
