Whooooo Hoooo

I stopped in to visit a old friend that used to work at Harley Davidson of Dallas that opened his own shop.
I have a '96 Heritage with straights on it and it's waaaaaaaaaay too loud. I asked him about putting stock pipes on it and he said he has a ton of stock pipes that he's taken in after putting on after marked pipes. He will put new '96 pipes on it for about $50. The pipes alone new are way more than that. He's not even going to charge me for the labor.

He has known me for over 15 years and said I was the best advertisement he could ever have.

Whoo Hoooooo I am one happy lady.

Way to go , Nancy! Friends are a big asset when it comes to parts.

My Harley- a hodge-podge of years with a 1940 45cu Flathead- ran 16 inch drag pipes for a long time til I finally aquired a set of 32inch drags from a friend who complained he couldn't think when I was within 2 blocks. (Wimp) Got the giggles puttin thru the Sears parking garage- setting off car alarms.

I've been called an obnoxious redhead more than once!

"setting off car alarms"

LOL ;D Yeah I been there more than once in motel or KOA parking lots.

Actually mine are so loud it hurts MY ears. :o
But dango I sure hate to take them off. They sound soooooo good going through the mountains of NE OK or NW Ark. 8)
