Ran across an interesting concept that I haven't seen before. If you don't have space for a large garden, poor soil, animal pests, limited water, or simply want to supplement your garden, take a look at the link below.

Be sure to read the comments below the instructions on the applicable pages. I didn't understand what was going on at first glance. However, after reading the comments and replies, it all made sense. :)

Interesting concept,probably cheaper than spending $50-60 bucks on the advertised ones.

I have two of the Earth Boxes that you see advertised on TV or in mags.(Got them for free from freecycle) They are ok,but...my plants that are in regular planters do better consistently.

I'm so glad you posted this link. I just tried gardening at my new home this year and it failed miserably! Only got leaf lettuce to grow, except for weeds and bugs. lol The soil is just worn out from the farmer who owns it. I'll be trying these from now on. Has anyone tried this in the house yet? Could i keep veggies growing year round that way?
