A stupid Question or more?

Apparently I have been informed that it is necessary to ask permission before replying to a post in perhaps all but definitely some of the topics. To whom do I ask permission? Is it only once or every time.? Is it viewed for content and then placed in the appropriate place?

Are you sure about that? I think maybe you're getting it confused with the Chat room and not the forums?

New members, from my understanding, have to have the admin set the member's permissions to allow them to enter the chat room. This came about because of spammers taking control of the chat not long ago. Therefore, members that were not known by mods had permissions set to disallow the chat. Is this what you may be referring to?

I have seen nothing about people having to get permission to reply to a post.

Where were you trying to post and what error message did you receive.

If you tried to post in the bottom three boards, this account does not have permission yet. You must participate in the other boards for awhile.

It is best to send me a PM if you want a faster response.
