View Full Version : weather
Boy, this has been an interesting July & summer for us. Not only did we set a low high temp record for July, we also are going to finish the month w/o a single 90 degree day. The whole summer has been cool.
Where is Al with a revised temp chart when ya need him? :)

I,am sick of rain, rain, rain, and it rained again today. Weather, rain for the next 7 day,s, crap, crap, crap. Enough already i would like to harvest something outa the garden. Got the corn off and very few matter,s. They are dying and fast, got a few bean,s but have way more a hanging on that have spotted up. I will still get some off but now where what i should have. I feel good just to get what i did so far. The weather has broke it off in me this year. Well the watermelons are monster,s so far. This has been the toughest year i have ever had in a garden.

Six straight days of rain here in North Louisiana too. Unusually warm, muggy with high humidity.

It has been cool this summer. Good for the electric bill bad for the garden (at least my garden). Also Rain rain rain over 5 inches in teh last 24hrs!! It has already been a fairly wet summer. But it's been a very wierd couple of years.....
We have had a cooler than normal summer, but all that ment is, i didn't need to run the air even one day... :) Now, we are going on our 3rd week in a row, of sunny nice days, with cool nights, and "for me", i'd call this perfect weather!

We have had a cool summer here and the evenings are getting cooler than normal, I think. I am not ready for winter I enjoy my garden and hate to see it go. I don't know if there is anything that I can plant that will grow in the winter. This is my first garden (in many years).
