Admission to the Tennessee State Museum is FREE.
See how fibers become fabric. Try your hand at simple spinning and weaving. Learn more about the historic spinning and weaving equipment exhibited in the museum. Spinning and weaving activities for children will be available.
From 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Watch historic spinning and weaving techniques being used to create contemporary artworks by participants in two specialized workshops led by Tennessee master-teachers Lynne Vogel (spinning) and Geri Forkner (weaving).

If you are interested in actually taking a workshop, instead of just observing, click here for prerequisites and fees.
