Any animal foster parents here?

I'm thinking of fostering a horse or two.
I have 1 of my own and she needs some pals.

That is a great idea. Here in michigan things are getting so bad people are giving away horses and cows have gone down in price too.Their is not enough hay because of the drought we had and now i hear their might be a shortage of beet pulp.It is scary waiting to see what will happen. We have two each horses cows dogs and we have chickens and the horses and dogs we got were abused or on their deth beds when we got them.It is very heartbreaking to see animals in that condition.I am glad that their are other people out their willing to help

I emailed a rescue group to see if they needed me. I have plenty of hay for 2-3 for the winter. I should have kept more from the hayer lol
Yep, my horse and dogs were rescues too.

Cool,that is great that you have all the winters hay up.I am locked in with my hay guy untill april/may so i am thinking of buying the hay pellets from the feed store to get us thru untill first cutting. I do not have hay storage here but i have a shed i could put alot of feed bags in.We buy the big round bails of hay and fork over what they need. That is my next thing is to put up large pole barn as soon as we can swing it.
