Goat milk production/flavor

I just bought a toggenberg/saanan cross doe. Her production is less than expected and the milk has a slight off flavor. Mostly just not as sweet as my nubian or alpine. Any ideas on how to increase production and improve flavor?

how long have you had her? She may just be adjusting to the new environment. Milk flavor has a lot to do with what she eats. If she hasn't been eating well or ate plants that have a strong taste it may be transferred to her milk. She may be missing her old herd mates. Is she being isolated from your other animals. Does she seem sick? Feverish? Dull eyes?
If you have any thought that she may be sick you need to seperate her out from your other animals and consult a vet.

I thought of another possibility, how long has it been since she was bred? Maybe she is at the beginning or end of her production.
