no it was not exactly a lucky year, two days ago we had to dig a hole to bury one of our Katahdins. No idea what ailed it, it just acted listless one day, and the next day it died. I feel bad because I dragged it in when it looked like it might rain, which it did not, it had gone off and was sitting under a big hickory and did not want to leave. All I did was disturb a dying animal. I feel really bad. She was the pet and followed husband and ate out of his hand.

So sorry for your loss. It is sometimes real hard to tell when animals are sick part of their defense mechanism is to never show that anything is wrong. That way predators wont single them out from the herd. I am sure that the sheep was probably more comfortable where you moved it, even though it didn't want to move.
