I have an idee... This is really sad, but as we are hearing about more and more loved ones losing jobs... How about if we make a thread about them and their short term needs? Just tack yourself or your loved one(s) onto the thread and when the job is found be sure to post that too... okfine?
I'll start... Way up inna mountains there is a couple who have a stove but need the stovepipe for it, they think they located it but still don't have it for winter and it gits COLD up there... Also, papa needs a job... His unemployment is due to run out in a shorrrrt time...
We'll call them Ma and Pa Rockytop.. God Bless and Keep them... and open the way for them to get Stovepipe and a Job for Papa...

Good idee, Grizz. Paul, lady bears ARE smart, didn't you know that?
I'd like to add a friend, named Tracy, who is in the nursing home. She is only in her thirties, and has two small children. She suffered from a sudden brain bleed, and now needs care 24/7, cannot talk, or control her body in any way. I know the vibrant, intelligent woman is locked inside that body, and I pray that she may be granted a full recovery, if it be God's will.

Cat, if it would be enough to wrap our hearts around Tracy and love her with all that is within them.. She would be at your house Sunday for supper, and help you wash the dishes...
Dear Father, we ask Mercy for Tracy... who we love so dearly, but Your will, Father not ours... Thank You for this precious soul. And Thank You for our Catalpa who we love, too. Meet all of her needs and bring her Joy, Lord according to Your riches in Heaven.

I thought I would update whats going on with my son's jobs, My oldest lost his part time job and is now jobless and not eligible for unemployment (didn't work long enough, just out of school). My youngest's part time job has become full time, but is still low on the payscale. The son in the middle is doing real well, he and his wife are both full time employed.

This is a prayer request for myself.
A few years ago I got lost in my ways and strayed away from God. I have always believe in Him and lived my most of my life following the rights and wrongs. I just quit praying and asking for forgiveness. I felt in a lot of ways that I was not worth it. I am finding my way back.
Thank You for giving me the courage to post on here.
Everyone here on the boards have been an real inspiration for me and helped me more than they know.

Brenda (hug'n yas) I don't know how I missed your words, I just did see them. Different people will speak from sincere hearts and yet from different perspectives on the Creator.
Now this is me, a bear, someone who messes up every single day and will continue to do so until my Journey ends.. God knew we'd be a mess from the beginning. Can you imagine that He took our beating and suffered and gave His life, so that our mess ups could be forgiven and forgotten. The Bible tells us that then, 12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12). Asking the Lord to forgive us and to be our Lord and Savior washes away everything that stands between us and God, and is the Only way to ever be able to be in God's presence. As your heart listens to the whispers from Heaven to come close to Him, we will be here.. remembering you and asking for strength and wisdom as you continue on your Journey.. never alone again.
Bearhugs
me lub you In Him

We all stray from God's will and in my opinion when we make our way back though it's hard but I think we grow a little and become stronger and it's harder for us to stray again. PS ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH GOD. Ken

but this was the first thing I noticed when I just checked the board last weekend. It's been a long scary trip since my ex company went belly up over 2 years ago... I have been freelancing ever since but that doesn't cover the bills and my horses/dogs or keep you on the path of your dreams. So since nobody seems to want to hire a 45 year old videographer at anything I guess prayers would be in order as to what direction the Lord would like me to take. I am willing and able to do a lot of things so if he could open a door and make it real clear and then give me a gentle shove in that direction and then close the door behind me so I don't wander back the wrong way I sure would be appreciative! Thank you for all who will or have prayed for me... I have said a few words for you as well!

Son in the middle ended up in hospital for 28 days. (Complications of surgery he had last year). he is now back at work and playing bill catch up. My oldest son got a temporary job with the census, so he will be out there counting heads for a couple of months. My youngest son got laid off 3 days after my oldest son started his job. So for three whole days all three of my sons were working. They cut back on overtime at my job, but, I keep finding ways to be more valuable and I got 74 hours this week. I guess as long as I can keep working everything will be okay.

Oh annabella, I'm so happy to hear from you. You know I almost pm'd you to ask where you went from chat? We all enjoy you so much..
Thank You for the update. Now your son's hospital stay is behind him and you're able to get more hours, although I don't know how your energy tank is.. I keep you in my heart an prayers alla time, anna. God is able to keep us going, when we're tired or disillusioned or just flat out sick in our bodies.. God's grace is sufficient for us. I just never eyeball a circumstance and think thas what I have before me, as I ALways know that it's just a picture of something.. and that God has the real situation in control. I do what I can every day, in His strength.
We'll keep praying that God will open doors for your boys.
Stay close to us, anna.. we really miss you.
Bearhugs
Be Strong
