I'm not sure whether this should go here, or somewhere in the "dreaded three". What if everyone who was eligible, applied for their permit, license, etc., for concealed carry. I'm aware of the cost factor, but if it was financially feasible, then go for it. It may be a little bit of a hassle..true. Somewhat like voter registration, but only you would know when it was time to "vote". Even though many would be uncomfortable carrying a handgun, it would be irrelevant, since only you would know if you are. ...Just a thought.
