I've read that Bouncing Bet (the wildflower) - makes a nice, natural shampoo. Since my sister considers it a weed & has lots, I'm going to try this if I can get her to give me some!

Here's a bit from a link: Bouncing Bet, also known under its old folk names Lady’s-Washbowl and Soapwort, is rich in natural cleansing substances saponins and has a natural ability to produce a soap-like lather.

Has anyone here tried it?

Too bad nobody answered this...I have always wondered if soapwort really works! Did you end up making the shampoo, Carol Ann?

I didn't get to THIS year - she got it all pulled up before I could try it! (Hopefully, it seeded a little before she got it out, because I did see flowers on it this year.)

I'd still love to hear if anyone has used it . . . and how to use it if they do!
