View Full Version : 2 BLUE RIBBONS YET
Just won 2 blue ribbons at our county fair.
How about that?
I got one for a black velvet crazy quilt and another for a pilllow made of all kinds of torn and salvaged embroidery pieces. I sewed them together like a crazy quilt and embroidered all over it just as i did the crazy quilt.
It's the first time i ever entered anything anywhere.
Sue got a prize for an old chair she had painted and decorated. It is terrific. love, alma

Congratulations on winning blue ribbons. I can surely appreciate the work you put into your projects! Learned the skills from my Mom, but I've never had the patience to complete something as large as a crazy quilt. So my hat's off to you both in your patience and the quality of work that it took to earn those ribbons.

Ms. Alma,
That is wonderful! I am so happy for you and Sue. It is nice to have a sister like Sue to do these things with.
God Bless you both.

Alma,
That is great!!!!! I wish you had some way to post a picture of your handi-work. I hope your health is good.
How do you like living in West Virginia?
