I came home a few days ago and found my cat Mysti asleep on the case for my .308. I thought she just liked the texture but after looking at this pic I'm not so sure she didn't have something else in mind.

Yeah, I think she wants to take out one of the red tail hawks that live in my yard and occassionally land on the deck railing. That's the only time I ever see her puff up, back away from the sliding glass door, and hide behind the curtain. I'll have to explain to her that raptors are protected so she'll just have to live with a bird bigger than her flying around.

You know there is usually an exception for defense of oneself or defense of another in most state laws.......

So if YOU were being attacked by a redtailed hawk, danger kitty would have an affirmative defense.......

NOTE: I AM NOT A LAWYER NOR DO I PLAY ONE ON THE INTERNET!

That is really cute! I won't show it to my cat though. I don't want him getting any ideas! He gives looks that could kill when I yell at him.

Too bad you can't get huntiung tags for your kitty. More meat for the freezer/canner and she's probably a better shot.....definitely more stealth.
