Out of 5 entries the wife had two 1st places for her pickled okra and pears and two 2nd places for her yellow tomato and pickle spears. Not too bad for a country girl.

Congrats! I always love bringing home ribbons from the fair - it just adds to the enjoyment of home canning. Our fair is in a couple of weeks - so trying to decide what to enter this year and hope I'll be as successful. Thanks for posting!
