As I started to write this there were 38 members and 114 guest on the forum. I'm just writing to the guest to come on and join heck what have you got to loose. You can't just leave us lowly 38 people to run this game come on and join and be part of the merriment that is Back Woods Home Forum. Come on I know you can do it. Heck I'd offer a prize for the 100th to join but I have no way of knowing who that would be and I don't suppose a bag of starter grass compost is all that great of a prize.:sarcastic:Now for the ones that do join I can promise you we will welcome you with open arms. Just watch out some like to goose so protect that behind.:sarcastic: Come on join and become part of the family. Now HURRY HURRY HURRY and become part of the best forum on the net.

If you just come to check the posts, you are a guest. If you start to post, then you have to sign in. Many times I just read the posts, especially in the food sections, but don't bother to sign in to post because I don't have anything to say. (that's hard to believe). The point is that even if I am a member, I still show up as a guest unless I decide to post on a subject and get diverted to the log-in page.
I assume other people are that way too? My cookies are dumped every time I close my browser, so until I sign in again, I am a guest. Many of those guests might have simply been members who hadn't signed in yet.

I'm the same way, I check here about every day but I don't post that often any more.

Same thing with me. However, I do have my cookie handling set to not accept third party cookies, rather than deleting them all every time I logoff the computer.

I'm the only one in my family that comes to this site and, unless something happens to the computer, I am always signed in. Of course, something has happened several times and I got signed out.
I have had to re-join three times now, from scratch.
The random questions are kind of crazy too. Re: what letter comes after J in the English. I always thought it was K but I guess I was wrong?
BTW, I don't have to remember my password etc. I write them down in a little book by my computer.

Mitzy, you should never have to re-join. If you forget your password, it can be recovered. If you forget your Membername, it, too, might be recovered.

By the way, if you post more often, you'll soon find you won't have to answer those annoying questions anymore. :D

We keep our passwords written down in a small book we keep right next to the computer too!
My password is a name I won't forget. Make your passwords simple, but unforgetable that no one else would know.
Okay, so I only lurked long enough to decide that this forum was crazy enough for me to sign up as a member and that I'd fit right in:cool:. You think I could be #100?:girl_wacko:
