In the garden there's never ONE ant to be found,
for it's ants by the bucketful, ants by the pound,
trundling formical plunder around,
locating aphids and rescuing ant-eggs,
stepping and tripping on each other's pant-legs,
hauling and lifting and micro-heave-ho-ing,
this million coming and that million going
as fast as they can, and not one of them knowing
where they are headed from where they have been,
with half trooping out and the rest running in,
but all of them, ALL of them, certain of this:
that if you're an ant, Being Busy Is Bliss!
