I ran across this site awhile ago and bookmarked it, I don't remember how I found it. I havent had a chance to get too in depth and check it all out yet, but it looked very promising, with lots of old time ways of doing things and info in general.

Thanks for posting it. I just checked out some of it--so much info--very cool. I like the dumbwaiter-- I was wanting one to go from our basement, through the kitchen and upstairs to the laundry. :)

That is a good link. It took awhile, but I printed it out, a few weeks ago, for future reference. It the link goes down or I can't get on line for some reason, all I have to do is reach for a notebook.

Plus it's handy to take out to the shop.
