Would anyone here be interested in a postal match as Oliver described in his post on the accuracy of military rifles? The only prize would be bragging rights.

What are the requirements on ammo? Handloads OK?

my 91/30 shoots MOBD groups...minute of barn door.but damn that surplus leaves a cool fireball at dusk don't it?!!,actually it will put down a 3 inch group@ 100 yrds through the old iron sights,,my M38 isn't quite as good

I'm pretty sure I can put 5 shots into an inch circle with my M44 (disregard the powder burns on the target)

Since we're just going to scan in the photo's anyway, maybe just shoot the group and post what kind of gun ammo combo we're using. Any suggestions? Someone not shooting that match could offer to judge. I'm shooting, so maybe Oliver being Web Meister could be the first judge. We can sort things out into something that works for us.
