I could use some help please. Being single and female with no place to go has become quite daunting. My farm is in the Midwest, but for personal reasons I want to move west. I am looking for a ranch job, wrangler job, something with live in facilities. Any other ideas?
I am a fit, clean, attractive 49 year old woman that possess a lot of common sense and ranch sense. I have two well broke horses that are not corral monuments. I ride and drive. I am packed, ready to move and no where to go.
I am not online as often as I need to be, may not see any posts in reply to this, so if you have something pertinent, please email me at dona.noname@yahoo.com
Do you know of ranch job? Trail guide/wrangler job? An empty home that needs a house sitter?

Ladyhorserider,
What state or states do you want to go to? That might help narrow it down!
As I've said to others here - be careful when using the net to search for someone you're going to need to trust. You can't just take folks at their word, unfortunately . . . get some references! And beware if they're not doing the same thing.

Thanks for the help you guys.
Where do I want to go? I have tried for out west, say for instance in the mountains. Beautiful mountain land with green fields and trees and streams!! Shoot, everyone wants that and also people claim it does not exist!! Where in the heck are they getting these pictures from then? And I have driven the mountains and it does exist! But it is expensive there. Someday I will find a good man who wants a low maintenance woman and we will ride the horses to go hunt our elk! And hopefully he will already have a place and won’t mind another horse to come on in and would not mind having some chickens and other hobbies to create a self sufficient life and we will have time to hitch up the horse and go for a drive! I don’t need shopping malls nor do I need to run to town much for anything. But I do like the internet! Grin
I am in the process of checking out your recommendations. Thanks.
