I hope everyone elses TEA party was better than ours in Copperas Cove TX. About 100 people showed up and just stood there. They had some signs and tea bags but that was about it. I knew I should have driven to Belton to attend theirs.... :(

Real sorry to hear that C. Mine down in SW Fl was GREAT ! They estimated 6,000, and that didn't seem to far off. Really good speakers, and several of them, one even dressed as Thomas Jefferson, came in on a horse, who began his speech with many quotes from TJ. The crowd went wild. Many law enforcement officers, and they were very friendly and helpful, and seemed to enjoy it as well. I was really pleased and for the first time in many years, proud of my fellow man.
So maybe that will balance it out C. I'll gladly share my good one with you. *;) *Many, many veterans there too ! Branch of service caps, and VN medals everywhere. My hand was tired from shaking hands with brothers and sisters. A proud experience, and I saw more than a few tears of pride roll, some were my own. *:D
I did DVD most of it, but do not know how to post it. Wish I could share it. :-/

Racer that sounds so awesome. I wish I could have been a part of it. I guess I should be happy that they did anything here since they usually don't do much in the political activism area. I told myself later I had some nerve complaining, if I wanted more I should have organized the event myself or atleast help the organizers. :-[ I am so glad that yours went so well it will make a statement that won't be missed. They had some big ones in San Antonio and Austin that I saw on the news. They looked pretty awesome.

;) CWatson, more than happy to share. I could tell you were a little down about it, as I would have been had mine not turned out well, which I'm sure was the reason for all the tears there. I told several, and was told by several that I really didn't think there were that many people left in America that cared about her anymore, and had about given up. But my heart leaped up when that many patriots started cheering the speakers, and shaking hands and hugging everybody. It was kinda like what I imagine coming home to a very large family would be like, especially with all the veterans showing their colors. There were Gadsten flags everywhere also, the yellow with the rattlesnake coiled saying don't tread on me. I may be talking out of school, but one of my biggest surprises was a couple of LEO's helping people sign up for CCW permits. You believe that?
I think they are realizing the position they will be in when they are left alone with the coming crime situation. I suddenly realized that they are counting heavily on law abiding citizens being armed. I do not envy them at all.
I did manage some info on sites to sign up for future partys as a volunteer, and supportive T shirts. There is probably no better cause at this point in time than to become involved in this movement, for any that might be interested. My feeling of utter helplessness has been greatly boosted by attending, and I encourage any who can to contact your local groups. I think there are more scheduled for July 4th. The site with the local contact points was lost in the recent shutdown of the evil boards. Well, maybe not, they can still be read, just not posted on, right ? I'll see if it can be retrieved.
Also, I certainly hope I have not offended anyone as trying to help save my country will certainly be viewed by some as political. If I have, oh well... I'll proudly take the boot. * * * ;)
