this is just from a book i am reading.
a trillion dollars in tightly bound 1,000.00$ bills would produce a stack nearly 63 miles high!
and all i wish for is to live in my woods...with just enough money to get by.
what do u wish for??and how will u get it??
for me to get this to happen...aliens would have to kidnap my hubby and transplant his brain.lol.rae-dean

Guess how long it would talk to count to one trillion at a steady pace?
There are 60 seconds in a minute so you would count 60 in one minute.
There are 60 minutes in an hour so you would count 60x60 = 3600 in one hour.
There are 24 hours in a day so you would count 24X60x60 = 8,6400 in one day.
There are 365 days in a year so you would count 24X60x60x365 = 31,536,000 in one year.
To find how long it would take to count to a trillion dollars divide 1 trillion by 31,536,000. That is 1,000,000,000,000/31,536,000 = 31,709.79 years
How long 'til Americans get mad enough to circle congress with torches and pitch forks?
and now the visual...http://articles.mercola.com/sites/ar...Look-Like.aspx (http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/04/07/What-Does-a-Trillion-Dollars-Look-Like.aspx)
Pay $10,000,000 every day for 273 YEARS and you'll retire only $1-trillion of our $104-trillion obligations amassed SO FAR! You'd only pay down those debts by less than 1%. Meanwhile, back to the farm!

lol.pretty good! thanks for the laugh and the info.rae
Yes, it is humor of a macabre sort. Less amusing is the coming second wave of derivatives disaster. That brings only three words to my mind: OH MY GOD!
Maybe this next collapse will wipe out all our trillions of dollar denominated foolishness.... hmmmm?
Oh well, back to farming...again...still!

A farm and animal sanctuary(that's money wise, of course my first wish is health for my family and pets) with the self sufficient house I designed built on it. Not sure how I'll get it. Maybe one of my ideas will come thru for me:).
