Alaska (anyone.. echo echo echo...)

We are heading to Alaska in October... we will be north east of Anchorage around Eagle River. Anyone know this area? There is an Army and an Air Force Base there. Would love some community info.

Well, lets see... It will already be getting cold in Oct., and there will be some below zero weather in Nov... Then the snow will stay untill the end of April... lol That's when the bugs come out... lol lol

It's beautiful in Alaska, but there's a price to be paid for that beauty... The months i like best in Alaska are, July, Aug. and Sept...

There's lots of folks living where you will be, and your close enough to Anchorage for day trips, if that's your thing...
