hahaha pretty funny! I'm sure there will be quite a few "balloon boys" this year.
I made up my own costume this year. I planned on being a reaper, but thats too overdone, and wearing a full black hood would get kinda hot all night. I thought about a barbarian, but that was just too simple. I was sitting here at the computer looking at costumes, and I saw a fake amish beard, and it hit me........YODARR the Barbarian! Yep....an amish barbarian. I'm letting the beard grow out and shaving off the moustache the day of our party. I made a "battle pitchfork" with a skull thru the tines, and fur wrapped around the handle. I made a shield with the "official" Yodarr coat of arms....a red cross with a butter churn, a milk jug, a buggy, and a bonnet in each corner. I even made platform farm boots with fur on them. (cause 6'3" just isn't tall enough lol these put me at 6'8") This weekend I'm covering an old pair of suspenders in fur and putting viking horns on a cheap amish hat. Of course I'll get a hundred questions "WHAT are you???" but a few of us will get the joke lol. Best part is the total spent will be $10 for the fake plastic viking helmet to take the horns off of!!
