Not sure if this should be put in the politics section, but it should be of interest to NC citizens.

Free men of North Carolina,
Our servant, the Federal Government, has engaged in mutiny against us. They presume to be our masters, who may order prosperity or famine as easily as one orders a drink or meal at a public house. I shall not detail the numerous transgressions of the offender here, for any who have eyes to see and ears to hear have observed these. Yea, even the blind and deaf can feel the specter of Big Government creeping at them from all sides.

I assert that we should do as any employer would do: turn them out. I suggest we do what any land owner would do to a burglar: beat them soundly and turn them out of the estate. The estate is the great state of North Carolina, The job is to protect the body of citizenry from wrong. Who can say that they have earned their wages?

The men of several other states have issued warnings against the Federal government by way of resolutions asserting their state's rights under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. They stand for their rights as well as ours They warn the smooth talker and his minions against further infringement of individual rights.
We should add our own voice to the matter; Declare our state's rights to conduct its own affairs and to declare our individual rights to conduct our business without the federal government interfering.

A letter to the editor of a paper. The county in question is full of veterans, but is noticeably AWOL in the fight for liberty.

Patriots of Yadkin,
Among you are men of valor, warriors who fought in the world wars, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, and in our present War on Terror in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Let it be known that the men of Yadkin County do not shrink from any foreign enemy.

If only the same was true for our domestic enemies! In the current fight over State's rights, the new Assault Weapons Bill, The so-called Patriot Act, the Billions in bailouts to bankers, and the numerous assaults on freedoms by those in the federal government; you have not engaged the enemy. You have allowed treason to take place in front of your eyes. They say our Constitution is "quaint" or that it not longer applies. Would you say the same of your Bible? Just as the Bible is the guideline for your salvation, the Constitution is the guideline for liberty and limited government. You would not listen to a preacher who disregards the Bible, do not tolerate a politician who disregards our Constitution. Vote them out! They are our servants, not our masters. Kick them out!

The federal government has usurped the powers reserved to states and to the people. They have made North Carolina subject to the perversions of other states. This is most evident in the "No Child Left Behind" act. The federal government has taken control of a system that would ideally be the responsibility of the parents and was traditionally a state power. They have put your children's education in the hands of the United Nations. They are not held accountable for their failures. They teach propaganda rather than literacy. Where the federal government intrudes, liberty decreases.

You can do something about it. You do not have to stand by and let them empty your gun cabinet and your pockets. You do not have to let them fill your children's minds with UN immorality. Join the Campaign for Liberty (www.campaignforliberty.com). Talk to the people at Church and at work about liberty. Rather than grumbling under the burden of big government, throw them off! Let them know that We the People tolerate no domestic enemies.
