Has anyone seen this for sale in any stores rather than ordering it online?

I finally found some at a CVS several miles from here. Thanks. If anyone is interested in stocking up on it, I would suggest you look soon. It was difficult to find in this area.

I was really blessed because CVS had it on sale for six dollars which was less than half the regular price. I had to drive thirty miles to get it after calling all over, but I did find three bottles. H1N1 has made it a rare commodity.

I made my own this year, We have a lot of elderberries here and I am trying to become more dependant on local resources. Here is the recipe I used:

It tastes marvelous

In the spring I plan to collect the flowers and see what I can make with them.

Herbology is such a wonderful skill. I have no idea what an elderberry even looks like. It's not one of the plants that my family has ever had.

Elderberry is very distinctive and easy to spot. Here is a site with good pics: http://www.fcps.edu/islandcreekes/ecology/common_elderberry.htm
There are other types of elderberries but the one pictured here is the most common and what is usually used for meds.

I started collecting books on herbs and making herbal medicines a few years back and besides being rewarding is is SO much fun!
