Red Palm Oil

Has anyone else had trouble with soap seizing when using red palm oil? My first batch got thick really fast; but I did get it in the mold. The second batch seized up on me and I had to put it in the crockpot and do a hot process.

My problem with the red palm oil was that my soap didn't harden. I have made soap on a regular basis and could not get the refined palm oil, so I used the red palm oil. The aroma also irritated my husband. I cured it, melted it down with water and just made enough liquid soap to last an eternity.
