I'm shopping for one but I'm looking for something without a bullet hole.

At least you were dead on down the middle. Your left/right clicks on the scope are perfect.. Elevation may need a click or two up tho. :D

Take care Be safe Poacher

Ah, someone that can find the good in anything. Now that you mention it, I did make adjustments to the scope after my first and second series of shots. It was shooting high, so I adjusted it an inch down. Maybe that was it. Well, that was a valuable learning experience!

I try to keep a light side of things. Doesn't always happen but a good perspective helps. Is there anything salvageable from it? You may be able to get a new one use the old readout and make a extended cable for the old readout and have a farther downrange FPS reading. Then again it does look like you put a 30cal hole in it so that may have done more than what I'm seeing.

Take care Be safe Poacher.

Ouch!
I have a ProChrony, use it for years, The worst I've done is splattered it with bullet lube. Hot day soft lube = lubricated chrono.
I've been interested in picking up a similuar chrono as the one pictured, sans the high velocity customization, hoping the bullet hole isn't indicative of what you think of the chrono.
Thanks

Hi SS
Yes, I liked using this Delta unit. It worked very well for me. I like the extension cord that brought the reader right up the the bench. The one feature that I wished it had was the memory to remember each individual shot in a string. It would display the velocity of each individual shot as you fired it, but as soon as you fired shot #2, the number for shot #1 disappears. The unit does automatically calculate the average and range of a shot string, but if you want individual velocities you have to write them down, shot after shot. Letting go of your grip between shots is not conducive to best accuracy, so I gave up on recording individual shots.
