BEWARE SURVEY POPUPS!

Yesterday I came on the forum and a pop up for a BHM survey came up. I was immediately suspious but thought I wiould play along until it asked for something.

It asked a few inane questions and then offered "free" stuff. Like diet pills and teeth whiteners! Of course there was shipping involved so that is the catch - entering payment for the "free" stuff.

This is NOT sponsored by BHM despite the big message at the front and the fact it pops up when you enter this site. It only happened to me once.

I asked Oliver and this is NOT sponsored by BHM. If you see it try to get a screen shot and send it to Admin. Or heck post it here! Sorry I didn't think to do that!

I was on the board most of the day yesteday and didn't see anything, but I'll keep an eye out, thanks for the heads up.

I got the popup again this morning and screen printed it for Oliver. I read the tiny print this time and this is from Facebook. A friendon there sent me an invitation to play this game (I was bored!) so I started it and it's what grabs a site and imitates it.

Next is a nastygram to Facebook for permitting such trash!

Sounds like a bot not connected to the site, try running a Spyware scan it might be able to find it and get rid of it or check the add-ons in your browser to see if it installed there.

I know Facebook just announced that some of their stuff has been hacked, so this may be a part of that. I dunno. I don't do any pop ups. ever!
