Hi I was hoping someone might have a suggestion for my dog. He is a 1 year old german shorthair. He has only been eating and drinking a little the past few days. He walks really stiff and is shedding tons of hair. His gums are a little pale...so I gave him some worm med. yesterday. He usually is bouncing off the gate to go play and run all through the house. But now just walks really slow and just wants to lay down and sleep all the time. Could worms( I haven't seen any ) make hime act like this? Or something else. He stays inside a pen usually.

Get him to a vet ASAP
Pale gums usually mean there's a major issue.
I just had to put down my Shepherd/Retriever mix a couple of years ago
because her spleen started bleeding (for no reason).
I hope it's nothing but....

Good Luck

I agree with Funmommy. Pale gums is not a good sign. I used to be a veterinarian assistant. Highly unlikely worms would cause these symptoms. I highly recommend a vet visit.

It's not worms. Loosing hair is a sign of thyroid disease, but you usually see that in older dogs. It could also be a mite (mange), and that could also give him pale gums.
He really needs to see his vet soon.

Agree with all, get to a vet ASAP. Does your dog eat fast? Could be a case of inetstinal bloat. In any case see a VET!

Is he dehydrated, its easy to check does his scuff go right back down or does it take a while. If it does goe right back down he is dehydrated. Does he have exposure to other dogs or thier feces. I would take him to the vet ASAP.

How is your Pup doing?
Did you take it to the vet?
What was the problem?
I hope everything's ok. :-/
