Friend had about 350 left over from a project and gave them to me (the forever pack rat, much to my wife's dismay). Plain Jane bricks. What to use them for?
Just about enough to make a two lane entrance to my detached garage (but that seems foolish), not quite enough for the grill I plan to build, but enough for a solar heat sink, cold frame base...or...ideas welcomed. Not much of a mason, more of a carpenter, so I'd appreciate any thoughts.

I was going to say a cold frame base! LOL Thats what I would do with them. seems to me you'd only need to stack them for that purpose. nothing fancy.

use them for a fire border
and if they have holes you
can use them as trot line
and throw line weights

This is more of a crafty suggestion but......at my childrens school the gym teacher glued 3 bricks together and painted them. He used geographic patterns but you could do anything. He glued the rubber type shelf liner on the bottom and felt on the back side and uses it as a door stop to keep his big gym door open. It was really really cute!

Stack them in a compact cube some place that's out of the way and just wait till the need arises. Then you will know what to use them for. In the mean time, they are a picnic table.
