We have a loft area above the bathroom with a skylight and recessed area where we stick plants. My husband thought the cat might like it up there, so he built this cat ladder from pictures he saw on the net. It needs another coat of paint but we wanted him to have it for Christmas. We put his little bed up in the corner and this morning he was up there. I said SNACK! and he was down like a flash for his yogurt snack.

P&P does BooRoo use the planters for a potty box. That is the problem I kept having with my cat

Thanks Hampster, i passed your compliment along to him.
Flatwater, he is such a good cat, he never goes anyplace but his litter box. One time he got locked in the basement when we were out all day. That's the only time he ever went to the bathroom anywhere in the house. He didn't mean to do it, but i still took him down where he did it, and said NO and smacked him on the head with two fingers. The two fingers is like the mother cat's paw and they swat their kittens on the head when they misbehave.

Tell BooRoo hello from Mr.B and Little Boy, our two black toms. Mr.B is very laid back and we haven't had any problems with him. Only trouble we have is that Little Boy doesn't cover his deposits in the cat box and he absolutely thought the ornaments and small Christmas tree were his play things. LOL I don't think he's bothered it today so maybe he finally learned to leave it alone because we took to spraying vinegar water at him every time we caught him with an ornament or near the tree. They spent night before last closed in the bathroom since my daughter wanted to put the girls gifts out at night for them to find yesterday morning- we celebrated early because they were spending the holiday with their dad and his parents.

Good Morning MYR! I certainly will tell him! My goodness, it sounds like you have two very good cats in Little Boy and Mr B. Wish you could post pictures of them. BooRoo doesn't cover his "deposits" very well either, LOL. He scratches all around but they dont' get covered. So that vinegar water worked to keep LittleBoy away from the tree? Interesting, have to remember that training tip. I hope you and your daughter and granddaughters had a real good Christmas.
