went yesterday to buy my last doe,, when I got there the owner said she had gone into heat the day before and wanted to know if I wanted her bred,, offered me a price and choice of any billy on the place.. didnt have the cash on me but she said I could pay for it later on the next paycheck,, we turned the billy out and turned her out with him,, before we could turn our backs and walk down the other end of the barn... bing bang boom.. faster than a rabbit.. wow..
she had quints last time... keeping fingers crossed,, go back in a few days to pick her up..
three does from same farm.. two bred to my billy one bred to hers.. April and May babies.. look out world...
I've hit my limit..
One billy.. his offsping of two a doe and a billy,, two wethers,, two does with kids,, two each,, and three more does.. 14 total??? i think,, I cant wait... soap making fool....lol as soon as i can put pics on cd i will share..
btw.. the younger doe and her brother will be up for grabs,, free to a good home,, both disbudded and I will castrate the billy with a vet..
of the four new babies three are does and the younger billy from that bunch is beautifully marked..two of them are not disbudded.. couldnt catch them to bring them in for it.. but the younger billy will be castrated..
the kids are all half nigerian..
