Missing tooth

The other day I noticed that my dogs tooth was sticking out at an angle from his jaw. It didn't seem to be bothering him and I tried to see if it would move, but never got a good grip on it. A few days later I looked and its missing. I can see where it was and the area doesn't seem nasty and he is acting just fine. Should I take him to the Vet and get some meds or just keep my eye on it?

BTW- it was one of the small molar type teeth 2 or so away from his canine.

How old is the dog? If the dog is under a year old he still may be loosing his baby teeth. If it is an older dog, I would keep a close eye on it for infection and just give your vet a call.

He is about 5 or 6.
