White cottontails ?

We have alot of cottontails here all around the buildings
We have been protecting tham from preadators, and feeding them through the winter, a few weeks ago the babys came out, And several White ones, Ive never seen this before, Anyone know Anything about this?
Its not an allbino, What is it?

have you checked the eyes?

local person lost many pet bunnies and they did what they did.. was funny! fat, loppy wild rabbits running about town

I checked the eyes, they wornt pink. People do dump unwanted pets around here, Found a yello striped manx kitten a few days ago. But i never saw a domestacted bunny
around, Surley it would have stayed.

some of the cottontails here are brownish but have a white diamond on the forhead, one of the white ones has a black diamond on its forhead, and now there is another baby whitie, so i figure that a rabbit must have a gene that is throwing white cottontails.
