This is my mother and me sometime in the 1940's--believe it was taken in Tijuana, Mexico.

Martin, that was a good idea.
This first one is me.

This next one is me with 5 of my 6 brothers. I'm the baby and this was taken before the youngest boy was born.

Dayzee -
That was taken at Knott's Berry Farm in California - my sister and I had our pics taken on that very same stuffed horse, only a few years apart. (Unless they had a lot of stuffed pinto ponies back then!) Funny - we both were holding up the hat the same way! I wonder how many thousand (million?) people have sat upon that horse?!

Oh! Well you are probably right! I clearly don't remember and there is no one left in my family to ask. :girl_wacko: Yup, we did visit Knott's several times. As a little kid I was fascinated by the "man in the outhouse" who knew your name and all about you, do you remember that? Hmmm. Well, at least I knew it was my mom and me!
