I would love to find a simple book on making home plumbing repairs. Since I am a visual learner I definitely need lots of photos.

Any recommendations? Oh, and not too expensive.

Stanley had series of books basic how to plenty of pictures. I used them for my kids when they wanted help. I thought my wife had it on her amzon store but she already sold it. I got it at books a million on the clearance table for 4bucks.

Pam, if you have a Lowes or Home Depot nearby check on their how-to books. That's where I bought mine. There you can look throught the books and decide on which ones cover what you need to know and which ones best illustrate the repair / replacement situation that you have.

Most of the home centers in this area sell a very basic plumbing book for less than $5

If you have a specific plumbing question....try a general Google search...or...go to Google Books and search the plumbing books that have a preview....sometimes you can get some excellent information that way.

An easy way to quickly weed through the mountains of info when doing a search is to use the "images" search option in Google or other search engines.....it can quickly lead to helpful diagrams and such, etc.

Just some ideas!
