I can see you guys there in the chat, but when I try to post, I can't get an insertion point to type anything. Frustrating, grrrrrr! Got a new server, cable high-speed and everything. Had my laptop in the shop for a new optical drive. Still no luck.

Anyways, Grizzy, thanks for trying to help this evening. I came in because of you, saw your name on the board and just wanted to tell you,

when you open your mouth, what comes out is pure country poetry.

You ever thought of writing a blog? A book? You could, you know.

Were you able to post anything?

That chat software does SUCK big time!

I have to click in the message box with the mouse to insert a cursor (or wait a long time for a cursor to appear) before I can type a message...no matter what web browser or operating system!!!

It's an extremely irritating piece of garbage!!!!!

:D

Martin, I gotta agree with you. At first, when I got this new server, I was indeed able to get in. Now, I can't. Nothing about my OS has changed; nothing about my server has changed since I went to cable broadband. It's gotta be the chatroom software.

I was recently having trouble with it as well. The window would come up. But if someone typed a link, I couldn't click on or copy and paste it in a browser window. Finally, I checked my popup blocker and when I disabled it for this website, everything worked great. The chat is a little slow with its response time, though.

Always just beyond reach. I'm always the kid with her nose against the windowpane of the toy shop. (Could it be that this chatware is a POS?)

You may need to enable cookies. Although I think to use the forum you have to allow cookies

Try "floating" the chat room and see if that makes a difference.

Tried it all, still can't get in. The software sucks, is all there is to it.

I gess this is dum but, when you get in the room.. you must click on the yellow typing strip.. to get the cursor to blink. When it blinks.. is when we can type. If you do not do this None of us.. can type. Then When we can type, we have to wait until it blinks agin before we can make the next entry. It's just slow. But am so thankful for the Chat Room and not complaining.
