Well it's that time of year and thought I would start this in case the winter storms start hitting we can all check in and relay information to one another. We have been lucky so far just cold not much moisture. Ken

Were over on the AR border just north of I40 Ice is my biggest concern. Hopefully we have a quiet winter. Its a bit chilly here so much for global warming :) Spring time is what really freaks me out I can live through an ice storm but those Tornados pop out of nowhere

I have lived in Oklahoma all my life seen tornado's and I never was scared until this spring had one hit the house. This thing came out of no where luckily I woke up it was about 2AM and turned on the TV they were not blowing the sirens or anything but the weather man said if you are in B,ville take cover. I got the kids up and the wife, couldn't make it to the cellar but got in the bathroom just in time. It was small but still done $6000.00 damage.Ken

That's the way it was where I was raised, in Texas. They were frequent. I didn't fear them as much as I respected them.

Paul you still get your share in KS too. I guess you kinda get numb to them until one lands in the front pasture. Did you make it TX yet? Ken

I was hoping to head out to our farmland in western OK this weekend after Christmas but the weather forecast isn't looking that good.

rain then snow on Christams Eve into Christmas morning. Maybe a white Christmas they predict 1-2" that should make a fine mess of things.

Total of seven inches of snow at this time here in W. Creek County. Sun shining like it was July! Nothing seems to be melting though. Tried to get the little S-10 out this morning with no results. Lucky to get it back under the car shed! That's ok, good excuse to avoid the commute to Tulsa, lol. The T.V. weather guesser is predicting more snow Tues. night and Thursday. Been out checking the cows and breaking ice. Absolutely no wind made for a nice morning. So amazingly quiet!
